LISA HERNANDEZ
Lisa
Hernandez is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). For the past
several years she was a Care Coordinator at Burrell Behavioral Health
in Springfield, Missouri. She worked with children struggling with
developmental, emotional and behavioral disabilities in addition to
assisting the children's parents with coping and understanding behavioral
issues. Lisa has experience working with families in crisis and completed
her practicum in 2004 with Intensive In-home Services, a division
of Burrell. Prior to her work at the behavioral health center, Lisa
provided care for autistic adults and adolescents in independent living
facilities. She has a passion for helping people of all ages but is
especially interested in children and their families. Lisa received
her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Evangel University in 1999
and her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Evangel in 2006. She relocated
from Missouri to the Chicago area in January 2007.
